Kazuri Arai is a Producer, Engineer, and Keyboardist at Anything Kreativ, as well as the General Manager of George Massenburg Labs. Kazuri began her career in Nashville, TN, as the assistant engineer to George Massenburg during his residency at the famed Blackbird Studio C. She has worked with artists such as the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Alicia Keys, Jack White, The 5.6.7.8's, The Rankin Family, The Subdudes, the Drake White, Arlo Guthrie, Kuniko Kato and others, as well as brands including Geico, and Panasonic-Acura.

 

While she continues to work with Massenburg on a variety of audio and music projects, she is also focused on using her experience and knowledge to develop independent artists and help them capture their creative visions. Notably, she has produced independent artists such as Charlsey Miller and Vinje, helping them bring their music to fruition, while lending her skills to artists like Dark & Nightshade to provide the final professional touch. Lately, she has been actively participating in recordings for Japanese animations alongside her collaborator and producer, Yuki Kanesaka.

 

As an educator, Kazuri serves as an Assistant Professor within the Music Production and Engineering Department at Berklee College of Music. In addition, she lectures at Belmont University and the Interlochen Center for the Arts, focusing on subjects such as career development, entrepreneurship, and the evolving challenges and opportunities in the contemporary music business
